نشرت الصحف السويدية صورة أرسلها رائد الفضاء الكسندر غيرتس لقطاع غزة التقطت عبر الاقمار الصناعية، الصورة وصفت بالمخيفة، وتظهر جانب من الكارثة الانسانية التي يتعرض لها اكثر من مليون و800 ألف من البشر ضمن مساحة جغرافية لا تتعدى مساحة (360 كم مربع) مساحة بلدية فالينتونا Vallentuna في ستوكهولم والتي يعيش فيها حوالي 29 الف نسمة
يذكر أن هناك خبراء وتقنيات معينة يمكن من خلالها تفسير وقراءة الصور الفضائية، وتقدير حجم الدمار أو أماكن سقوط القذائف
